Ocean To You has been designing, fabricating, and installing custom saltwater systems across Greater Houston since 2018. Every build we deliver — from a 75-gallon family room reef to a 500+ gallon twin-display install — is engineered around how the system will actually live, look, and last in your space.
We're a saltwater specialist, not a generalist. That means SPS-grade lighting and flow planning, properly sized sumps and filtration, redundant equipment where it matters, and livestock that's quarantined in our facility before it ever touches your tank.
Because we maintain what we build, our designs are built to be maintained. No awkward sump access, no equipment crammed where it can't be serviced, no compromises that turn into your problem six months in.
How we build
1. Consultation
We start with a walkthrough — in person or via video. We listen to your vision, take measurements, and talk through your livestock interests and budget. On-site consultations are $99 across Greater Houston ($350 statewide, $49 by video) — credited in full toward your build, and on-site visits include a concept rendering of your aquarium in the space
2. Design
Following your consultation, you'll receive a proposal with a concept rendering of the aquarium in your space, plus project scope, timeline, and pricing. Once you approve and place your deposit, we develop the full design package — detailed rendering, tank spec sheet, and complete equipment plan.
3. Install
Our team handles every part of installation: plumbing, electrical, rockscape, water, and equipment dial-in. We don't leave until the system is running clean.
Twin Reef Build · Houston, TX
A 600-gallon twin-display reef build flanking a custom media wall with integrated fireplace. Designed for a Houston client and currently in fabrication for a July 2026 install. Tank, stand, and canopy are being built to spec; rockscape and livestock plans are finalized.
Foyer In-Wall Reef · Houston, TX
A wall-mounted reef display set into the foyer of a luxury Houston residence. Mixed reef with mature SPS, LPS, and tangs, integrated cleanly into the wall opposite a sweeping staircase. Designed, installed, and maintained by Ocean To You.
Red Sea Reefer Build · Houston, TX
A Red Sea Reefer S-series installed with the back panel removed for a true through-tank view — letting the homeowner enjoy the reef and the window beyond from either side of the room. Triple AquaIllumination pendants, full equipment bay below with automated dosing, ATO, and a dedicated frag grow-out chamber. Engineered for long-term stability with serviceability built in from day one.
