At Ocean To You Aquariums, every fish goes through our comprehensive quarantine protocol before it's available for sale. We don't cut corners—because one sick fish can wipe out your entire tank.
OUR PROCESS:
1. Arrival Treatment Every fish receives a medicated dip upon arrival to eliminate external parasites before entering our system.
2. Quarantine Holding Fish are held in our dedicated quarantine system with therapeutic water treatment to address common marine diseases including Ich, Velvet, and more.
3. Medicated Feeding All fish are fed a medicated food blend daily to treat internal parasites and bacterial infections that dips alone can't reach.
4. Observation Period Fish are monitored for signs of disease and stress before being made available for sale.
5. Health Assessment Only healthy, active, and eating fish make it to the sales floor.
WHY IT MATTERS: Most fish deaths happen within the first two weeks—usually from diseases they were carrying when purchased. Our quarantine process gives your new fish the best chance at a long, healthy life in your tank.
