This is a true WYSIWYG Clove Polyp (Clavularia sp.) — the exact piece pictured is the frag you'll receive. Clove Polyps are one of the most popular soft corals in the hobby for their flowing, feathery polyps that sway dramatically in the current and create movement in any reef display.
This morph displays vibrant color expression with full, dense polyp extension. Clove Polyps are an excellent beginner-to-intermediate soft coral — they are fast growing, peaceful, and tolerant of a wide range of parameters.
Place in medium lighting and medium flow. They will spread across rockwork and frag plugs by stolons, so place strategically with room to grow. No supplemental feeding required, but they will benefit from regular reef food broadcast feedings.
