Frogspawn is one of the most popular Euphyllia in the hobby, named for the way the rounded tentacle tips resemble a cluster of frog eggs. Their flowing motion under reef flow makes them a centerpiece favorite.
This piece displays healthy heads with full tentacle extension and saturated color. Frogspawn is an excellent introduction to Euphyllia keeping — forgiving, fast growing, and visually stunning.
Place in low to medium lighting and gentle indirect flow. Spot feed once or twice a week with mysis, reef roids, or small pellets. Euphyllia extend long sweeper tentacles at night — provide at least 6 inches of clearance from non-Euphyllia neighbors. Frogspawn is fully reef compatible with Hammer and Torch corals.
