This is a true WYSIWYG Lobo-Sym (Lobophyllia / Symphyllia) — the exact piece pictured is the coral you'll receive. Lobophyllia and Symphyllia are closely related LPS corals known for their thick fleshy tissue, brain-like wavy ridges, and incredible color combinations of red, green, orange, and purple.
This piece displays the rich tissue inflation and color contrast that make Lobos some of the most coveted LPS specimens in the hobby. Each individual mouth feeds independently, making them rewarding to spot feed and easy to encourage growth on.
Place on the sand bed or low rockwork under low to medium lighting and low flow. Spot feed once or twice a week with mysis, reef roids, or small chunks of seafood. They have aggressive sweeper tentacles at night — provide at least 4-6 inches of clearance from neighbors.
At Ocean To You, every coral is hand-selected, dipped, and observed before sale.
