False Personifer Angelfish (Chaetodontoplus meredithii)

Why it is a Collector's Vault fish: Also known as the Queensland Yellowtail Angelfish, this species is found off eastern Australia and is collected in small numbers under Australia's licensed fishery. Males develop a striking blue-spotted face mask over a dark body with a bright yellow tail, and a mature male is one of the most prized angelfish in the hobby, which is why male specimens carry a higher price.
