The Saddle Valentini Puffer (Canthigaster valentini), also called the Black Saddle Toby, is a small, charismatic puffer with a cream body marked by four bold black saddle bands and fine blue-yellow spotting. Reaching around 4 inches, it is hardy, intelligent, and full of personality. Not reef safe — it will nip corals, clams, and ornamental invertebrates — best kept in a fish-only or FOWLR aquarium.
